design, management and launch of an internet startup providing hotel reservation
and booking for 53,000 hotels worldwide

design, development and delivery of an intranet based Reservations System,
enabling worldwide online booking and reservation handling
Travel:
Design,
development and implementation of all systems for a major independent
travel company
Hospitality:
IT and
Systems Strategy: to review all hotel systems and recommend and implement
a comprehensive IT & Systems Strategy. The project was completed within
budget and on time, achieving significant improvements in productivity,
flexibility and guest services. The strategy was adopted throughout Europe
and internationally
Hotel
Technology Programme; the review, recommendation and implementation of
all hotel systems including the telephone switchboard for an international
five star hotel. Significant improvements in guest service, profitability
and productivity were achieved
Design
and implementation of a re-engineered Finance Division; including organisational
and process design, role definitions, internal standards, implementation
of supporting technology based on PeopleSoft financials, and recruitment
and management of the finance function through the start-up phase
Global
Voice and Data Infrastructure: Project Management of a Worldwide Voice
and Data Network from initial tendering, contract negotiations, design
and implementation phase
